The Truth About Dancer Pay in the UK
Agency dancers are often paid a flat rate with no travel expenses
Regardless of what the client paid the agency. At one major UK agency, pro dancers were paid a flat fee with no travel while the agency billed clients considerably more for the same booking. The dancers had no idea. On AnyGig you set your own rate and receive every penny of it.

What Agency Dancers Are Actually Paid — And Why It Needs to Change
If you've worked through an agency, you know the setup. You get a call sheet, a costume note and a fee. The fee is non-negotiable. Travel isn't covered. You don't see the client invoice.
At one major UK entertainment agency, professional dancers were being paid a flat fee with no travel expenses, while the agency billed clients considerably more for the same booking. The dancers had no idea what the client was paying. They just took the job.
This is not unusual. Flat rates with no travel are common across large parts of the UK agency model.
When you form your own act and book directly through AnyGig, that changes completely. You set your rate. You invoice the client. You keep what they pay. AnyGig charges the platform fee to the hirer — you receive 100% of your quoted fee on every single booking.
A dancer earning £110 per agency booking could be quoting and receiving £250–£400 for the same type of gig booked directly. That's the real opportunity.
Get Booked. Get Paid. Keep Your Full Fee.
You keep your full fee
AnyGig charges the hirer, not you. Nothing is ever deducted from your payment.
Automatic contracts
Every booking generates a contract instantly. No verbal agreements and a clear record of what was agreed.
Clear payment record
Your payment route and schedule are recorded before the booking is confirmed.

Pro dancers working through agencies in the UK are often paid a flat fee with no travel expenses — regardless of what the client paid the agency.
Dancers who form their own acts and book directly through AnyGig keep their full quoted fee. The platform fee is charged to the hirer. You receive 100% of what you quoted — on every booking, every time.
