Terms of Service
Version 1.3 · Effective 23 October 2026
1. Who operates AnyGig
AnyGig is operated by Any Gig App Ltd, company number 16958330, whose registered office is 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE ("AnyGig", "we", "us").
These terms govern use of anygig.app, its applications and related platform services. Questions may be sent to hello@anygig.app.
2. Business-only hirer service
Hirer and agency accounts are available only to businesses, organisations, venues, professional event operators and sole traders acting wholly or mainly for business purposes. They are not available for personal, family or household bookings.
By opening or using a hirer or agency account, you confirm that you are acting in a business capacity and are authorised to bind the organisation you identify. Performers may use the platform in the course of their trade or profession.
3. AnyGig’s role
AnyGig provides marketplace, communication, contract, invoicing and booking-administration tools. The hirer and performer contract directly with each other. The performer is the supplier of the performance and is responsible for delivering it; the hirer is responsible for providing accurate requirements, a suitable venue and payment.
AnyGig is not the performer, hirer, employer, employment business, talent agent, event organiser or a party to the performance contract. AnyGig does not supervise a performance and does not guarantee availability, suitability, attendance, quality, payment, refunds, replacement performers or the outcome of a disagreement.
4. Accounts and information
You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and promptly correct anything that becomes inaccurate. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.
You must not misrepresent your identity, authority, experience, credentials, insurance, availability, prices or tax status. We may suspend content or accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law.
5. Listings, briefs and credential badges
Profiles, listings, applications, prices and user-provided documents come from independent users. A credential badge means only that the particular document or check identified by the badge was reviewed under the process described on the platform. It is not an endorsement or guarantee of quality, conduct, suitability or continuing validity.
Hirers must assess whether a performer and any insurance, DBS status, licences, permissions, equipment or qualifications are suitable for the engagement.
6. Forming a booking
A booking is formed only when the required platform steps are completed and the parties accept the booking details and applicable booking terms. The booking record, agreed scope, direct contract and any incorporated terms make up the agreement between the hirer and performer.
Users must review dates, times, venue requirements, fees, expenses, technical requirements, cancellation terms and payment schedule before accepting.
7. Marketplace card payments
For eligible UK/GBP marketplace bookings, each card payment is charged through Stripe on the performer’s connected Stripe account. The performer is the seller and payment recipient. Stripe controls settlement, reserves, verification and payout timing for that connected account.
AnyGig receives the platform fee and other amounts expressly itemised at checkout. AnyGig does not hold the performer’s fee in escrow and does not decide when Stripe pays it to the performer. A card payment is not insurance and does not guarantee the performance or a refund.
Where the platform records an agreed cancellation or refund instruction, Stripe may process a refund against the performer’s connected account. Entitlement to a refund comes from the parties’ contract, their agreement or applicable law—not from a guarantee by AnyGig.
8. Standalone invoices
Performers can create and send standalone invoices through AnyGig at no charge. Card payments are processed through Stripe on the performer’s connected account. AnyGig provides the invoice record and delivery tools but is not the creditor, debtor or collection agent.
AnyGig does not hold performer funds in escrow or control Stripe’s settlement and payout timetable.
9. Fees
The price shown before a marketplace card payment identifies the performer fee, AnyGig’s service fee and any disclosed booking or payment costs. The standard AnyGig service fee for supported marketplace bookings is 5% of the performer fee, paid by the hirer, unless checkout clearly states otherwise.
Performers pay no subscription, listing fee or performer commission and keep 100% of the fee they quote. Standalone invoices carry no AnyGig fee. Performers remain responsible for their own tax, banking and Stripe-connected-account obligations.
10. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
The cancellation terms accepted for the booking determine the financial consequences between hirer and performer. Stripe and the relevant card networks or banks control processing and refund times.
AnyGig may preserve messages and booking records, provide administrative support and transmit a technically authorised instruction, but it does not provide arbitration or make a binding legal determination. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy and Dispute Support Policy.
11. International engagements
Payment methods vary by performer country and currency. Card checkout is currently limited to routes expressly enabled on the booking; unsupported routes must use the displayed direct-payment method or cannot proceed.
The parties are responsible for exchange costs, tax, withholding, visas, work permits, customs, travel documentation and local legal requirements. AnyGig does not provide tax, immigration or legal advice.
12. User content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of content you upload and grant AnyGig a non-exclusive licence to host, display and process it to operate and promote the platform. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions.
You must not use AnyGig unlawfully, circumvent platform security, scrape personal data, upload harmful material, harass users or use the service for deceptive, unsafe or discriminatory activity. The Acceptable Use Policy also applies.
13. Platform availability and liability
We use reasonable care in providing our platform services, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We are responsible for loss caused by our breach to the extent required by law. We are not responsible for the independent performance contract, user conduct, venue conditions, off-platform payments or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. No founder, director or employee gives a personal guarantee. Users contract with Any Gig App Ltd, and any liability of AnyGig is the liability of that company, subject to applicable law.
14. Changes, termination and law
We may update these terms prospectively. The version recorded for a booking continues to govern that booking. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Either party may stop using the platform, subject to existing bookings, payments and legal record-keeping. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rule that applies.
15. Historical payment routes
Some bookings or invoices created before 23 October 2026 may display legacy payment terminology or controls because their original transaction must be administered safely. Those historical arrangements do not make held-funds or payment-protection features available for a new booking or invoice.
